My Perception Of Beauty
Baja
This picture has a sense of beauty because of how perfect and flawless the wave is, and the rarity of the moments when all of the right variables come into play to make a perfect day. This picture is especially beautiful to me because I have surfed that spot (or a spot exactly like it, and still in Baja) in the same but slightly smaller conditions. This photo brings back many memories of one of the most fun surf trips I have ever been on. This photo is a very amazing picture that captures the most coveted moment of surfing: rolling up on the rocky point break shore with perfection just a couple hundred yards away.Teahupoo
This picture is beautiful to me because, although it pleasing to the eye, but it is a testament to nature’s power. This wave is called
Teahupoo [cho-pu] and it is the most dangerous surf break on the planet. This is beautiful to me because of the sheer amount of water that is moving in the picture, and how powerful nature can be. I have no desire to ride these waves; they are only to look at for me. The main thing that strikes me in this picture is how perfect the conditions are on such a deadly wave. It is simply an amazing moment captured on film.
